What is a signed hockey stick worth?
Two things decide this: whose name is on it, and whether the name can be authenticated.
A signed stick with no sticker or certificate usually brings $40–$200. A team-signed stick with no notable names sits at the bottom of that.
Authentication by JSA or PSA/DNA costs $20–$50 and typically multiplies the number. Shipping a stick is awkward and buyers price that in.

Red flag
No authentication sticker, hologram or certificate. A photograph cannot confirm a signature, and unauthenticated sticks typically bring a small fraction of authenticated ones.
What decides the value
- The name
- A star name is worth many times a common one. An unreadable name adds nothing.
- Authentication
- A serial-numbered hologram is the single largest multiplier on the stick.
- Game-used or retail
- A pro stick with tape wear and blade damage is a different market from a retail blank.
- Marker condition
- Signatures on painted or lacquered blades smear and fade. Faded ink loses most of the premium.
- Shipping and size
- A full stick is expensive to ship, which trims what a distant buyer will bid.
